Crown & Bridge
Nobody likes smiling when he has a missing tooth. A crown and bridge is an excellent solution to replace missing teeth and restore your smile.
What is a crown and bridge?
Although it’s called a crown AND bridge, the device is really only one piece. It typically consists of two crowns with a replacement tooth attached in the middle. The crowns are placed on the teeth surrounding the empty space left by a missing tooth. Crown and bridges are sometimes referred to as “fixed bridges,” because they cannot be removed by the patient.
Dr. Giamberardino will recommend the right material for your bridge. In many cases, we can create all-ceramic bridges for the most natural-looking appearance.
As an implant dentist, Dr. Giamberardino also offers implant-retained bridges. These devices are anchored in the jawbone and do not require the crowning of healthy teeth. At your consultation, we’ll determine which options will best serve your needs.
